So, this week’s beauty post I’m going to share with you how to make your own mixing medium in less than five minutes.
What is Mixing Medium?
Mixing Medium is a liquid product designed to make pigments, eyeshadows, and loose products more pigmented, and bright, and it also acts as a “glue” for loose products to keep them in place.
- Distilled Water
- 1 oz Bottle (any size would work, but it’s better in small amounts, as you have to change it every 2-3 weeks)
- Label (Optional, for keeping track when you made it, and what it is)
How to Make, Use, and Store
- Mix 3 part Water, with 1 part Glycerin into a bottle, and shake well before each use
- Spray or Drip onto makeup brush, or back of hand and mix with product, and apply
- Keep in cool area
